Cheddar Cheese Fondue
INGREDIENTS
You will need the following per person:
- 1 tablesp dry white wine
- 1/2 small crushed clove garlic
- 1 teasp tomato chutney
- 1 teasp chopped parsley
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- White yeast bread
METHOD
Cheese Fondue is a great dish, takes all of five minutes to prepare and cook and has the added benefit of very few dishes, all of which makes for a very romantic evening not fighting over who has to cook dinner and clean up the kitchen.
Method:
- Put all the ingredients into a small saucepan or fondue pot. Heat until bubbling; do not stir as this breaks up the cheese. Serve immediately with fresh French bread or cubes of white bread crisped up in the oven.
