French Toast
INGREDIENTS
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup milk
- Butter
- 2 slices of white of whole-wheat bread
- Maple syrup for serving
METHOD
This is a very quick easy French Toast recipe a friend gave me the other day. The following recipe is for one or two people depending on the appetite.
Method:
- In a bowl whisk the egg and milk together.
- In a fry pan heat the butter over a medium heat.
- One at a time soak each piece of bread on both sides in the egg mixture, and place in the fry-pan.
- Cook until golden brown about one to two minutes each side.
- Serve with a butter and maple syrup.
