INGREDIENTS

  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • Butter
  • 2 slices of white of whole-wheat bread
  • Maple syrup for serving
French Toast

METHOD

This is a very quick easy French Toast recipe a friend gave me the other day. The following recipe is for one or two people depending on the appetite.

Method:

  • In a bowl whisk the egg and milk together.
  • In a fry pan heat the butter over a medium heat.
  • One at a time soak each piece of bread on both sides in the egg mixture, and place in the fry-pan.
  • Cook until golden brown about one to two minutes each side.
  • Serve with a butter and maple syrup.
