  • 6oz cream flour
  • 2oz sugar
  • 4oz butter
Shortbread Biscuits


  • Preheat oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
  • Mix the flour and sugar, rub in the butter to form a dough.
  • Roll out to quarter inch thick and cut with a cookie cutter.
  • If you dont have a cutter just cut into squares.
  • Pop onto a baking tray and put into the oven for 10 to 15 minutes until pale golden.
  • Cool on a wire rack.
  • Sprinkle with caster sugar and serve.
