March 2019 saw the launch of our Cully and Sully food hacks campaign. We believe Cully and Sully soups are the perfect lunch hack. You can skip the lunch queue, eat straight from the tub and avoid the washing up. Allowing you to make the most of those precious lunchtime minutes.
We asked you to share your favourite food hacks on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter @cullyandsully to be in with a chance of winning a retro-style SMEG fridge!!
We also gave away weekly prizes to our top weekly food hack entries including SMEG toasters, blenders and kettles.
After 8 weeks and over 250 amazing photo and video entries we narrowed it down to our favourite 4 and asked you to help us decide the winner by voting for your favourite food hack. Our top four favourite food hacks included:
Freezing leftover herbs in oil or butter to add to soups and sauces
Using an apple corer to cut an apple into segments and then holding it back together with an elastic band until ready to eat
Using a trouser hanger to hang up the cookbook while following a recipe in the kitchen
Using a spoon to peel the ginger to minimise waste
Our lucky winner of the overall prize and a fun 50’s style Smeg fridge was….. drumroll ….number 2!!! We loved this idea and Cully was using it for his kid's lunches the very next day.
Thank you for all who entered and remember Cully and Sully soup is the perfect lunch Food Hack!
