After months of cooking, testing recipe concoctions, sourcing ingredients, designing packaging..... we are launching our new hot pots.
We'll have 4 varieties; Irish Stew (Irish lamb), Beef Stew (Irish beef) with red wine & Gubbeen Bacon (all the way from our friend Fingal Ferguson in West Cork- it's the only nitrate-free bacon we could source), Chicken Casserole (Irish Chicken) and a Cheeky Chicken Curry. I love the curry the best I think, but the red wine in the beef stew is yum and the buttery flavour in the Irish Stew is gorgeous and the creaminess of the chicken casserole is very morish... They are all yummy - Promise!
They are in a cool new pot and guess how much???? €3.99. What else can we say - curry is gluten-free, Irish Stew is only 1.8g fat/100g's - so they're ridiculously low in fat, all the packaging is recyclable.
We've given out about 2,000 samples at the Midleton Food & Drink Festival and the Fingal Vintage Fare and they have gone down incredibly well. Out on Saturday- Oct 3rd- yummyyyyyy Sully
